The Road Is Long....

So I was talking to DougT, getting his take on the whole new roadmap. For a long time I have always said that any toolkit that tries to provide xpp (cross-platform-parity) in a 'true' gui scenario is just asking for trouble. Drawing frames is, for obvious reasons, more resource intensive than just outputting a bunch of text to a terminal, so ignoring architecture specific 'customizations' is a fools game.
