I have started collecting data from weblogs.com, via Dave's changes.xml file. I am trying to come up with some metrics regarding how often people update their blogs, and if regularly updated blogs corresponds to popular blogs. (ok, i can't do the latter yet since i'm missing data for how popular a blog is...)
So far I have managed to accrue the following data. This is based on 12 updates from weblogs.com, and is the top ten blog updaters since I started grabbing data (Sun, 04 May 2003 04:23:02 GMT):
